Due to the fact that the heat transfer components of this type of equipment are made of stainless steel sheets (with a thickness of 0.5-1.0m), their sealing rigidity is relatively poor and the sealing circumference is long, so their ability to withstand impact pressure is much lower than that of shell and tube heat exchangers. The abnormal impact of the plate heat exchanger can be judged based on the equipment that provides the conveying medium. During the maintenance of the alkali pump transporting alkali solution for the plate heat exchanger, it was found that there were a small number of honeycombs in the pump casing, indicating cavitation phenomenon during the pump operation; At the same time, due to the presence of leakage around the plates in the early stage, it can be inferred that changes in fluid pressure are also a possible factor in leakage.
