1.Direct adhesion type: After applying sealant to the sealing gasket, directly adhere it to the installation groove of the heat exchange plate. This sealing gasket is suitable for small, low pressure plate heat exchangers.

 

2.Glue nail inlay type: Assembly holes are designed on the heat exchange plate, and glue nails are designed on the edge of the sealing gasket. After placing the sealing gasket into the installation slot, the glue nails are embedded in the assembly holes. This type of sealing gasket has a complex structure, but it is relatively easy to install and disassemble.

3.Buckling type: A buckle is designed on the edge of the sealing gasket, and the sealing gasket is fastened onto the heat exchange plate using the buckle. This sealing gasket is suitable for large, high-pressure plate heat exchangers.

 

4.Symmetrical and asymmetric shapes: The sealing gaskets of plate heat exchangers are divided into symmetrical and asymmetric shapes according to the product profile shape. Symmetrical shapes are generally applied to diagonal flow plates, with flat upper and lower sealing surfaces that are symmetrical along the water plane and can be installed in both directions; The asymmetric ground is flat, and the upper sealing surface can be flat, curved, inclined, etc. The performance form of the sealing gasket for plate heat exchangers varies depending on the application situation.

When replacing the sealing gasket of the plate heat exchanger, the following points need to be noted

 

1.Clean the aging sealing components, and use acid and alkali chemical cleaning according to different dirt. The surface of the cleaned components will not be corroded and damaged by chemical media.

2.After chemical cleaning, use a high-pressure blowing device to thoroughly remove residual chemical media from the surface of the plate heat exchanger and the pipeline.

3.Apply fluorescent testing agent to the heat exchanger plates, check for small cracks and corrosion holes under ultraviolet light, and clean them again.

4. Emphasis should also be placed on checking the condition of the sealing groove and repairing it if necessary.

5. For adhesive sealing gaskets, residual substances will be thoroughly removed, and mixed adhesive will be used for re bonding. The reassembled heat exchanger plate group will be clamped in a dedicated fixture to solidify the adhesive, and heated in an insulation furnace to achieve the best bonding effect.

6. Reassemble the heat exchanger unit.
